SASSA Takes Solutions to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently checking out the Fernie 2 Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render companies towards the community.

SASSA might be rendering expert services for instance new social grant applications, change of payment method, consumer treatment enquiries, together with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is alarmed with regard to the large range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The aim of the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a substantial number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This can be due to lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there is no absolutely functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The service point produced for intervention experiences a superior inflow of prospective beneficiaries, which makes it hard with the Workplace to attend to all people who go to a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise more sources to permit the servicing of all buyers and improve usage of Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
